About Me:

I am Jack Anderson, Jr. and I married my wonderful wife, Brenda, on July 19, 1986 (the story of our wedding could be the subject of another book).  We have two children, Ardenia and Jack III.

We accepted the pastoral assignment in the Church of God of Prophecy located in Muncie, Indiana in August 1990.  We served that loving congregation for 21 years.  It was there that we were blessed with our two children.  I also attended Anderson University for my Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Anderson University School of Theology for my Master of Theological Studies (MTS).  I was also blessed to hold the position of Adjunct Professor of Bible for Anderson University and Tomlinson Center (via Lee University).  The courses I instructed were Introduction to the Bible, Minor Prophets, and Hebrew Wisdom Literature.  Another treasured experience I had was to serve the community as a volunteer chaplain for the Muncie Police Department for 18 years.

It was difficult to leave Muncie but in 2011 we accepted the pastoral assignment in Battle Creek/Springfield, Michigan.  This is the location where we presently minister.

I am the oldest of three brothers.  My two younger brothers have Marfan Syndrome.  This is a genetic disorder that effects the connective tissues in the body.  Both had to have heart surgeries replacing their aortic valves and ascending arches.  The middle one, Andy, had cardio thoracic surgery in 2020 in which he had a large section of his abdominal aorta replaced with a prosthetic.  Our youngest brother, Ben, had a heart transplant in 2005.  It was during his transplant operation at Loyola Hospital that the seed for The Ultimate Donor was planted.
